IDF-BI conducts electronic government and knowledge management workshops, modeled after those originally developed by Dr. Ramon Barquin, PhD, for The Brookings Institution.

These sessions are intended to provide participants with an understanding of the electronic government and knowledge management disciplines. In particular, these sessions present how knowledge management serves as a catalyst and enabler of electronic government.

The workshops are tailored to the specific realities of the attendees, whether national, state/province or municipal/county officials, or private sector executives.

Drawing from its own staff, experienced practitioners, as well as from relevant government officials in the U.S. and other countries, the workshop provides an ideal setting for learning about electronic government and knowledge management.
